The pearl handles are beautifully turned and include a button hook, a crochet hook, a stiletto /awl, a pair of tweezers, a glove button hook and a folding seam / pen knife.
There are two packets of Shrimpton needles in pockets in the lid and a paper of pins. The red silk piece is a needle book.
The small steel tools with hooks in the lid are a set of four crochet hooks, two on the left and two on the right, with a universal handle.
In the base there are a number of steel knitting needles including two fine pairs with decorative bluing plus a pair of steel scissors. The final item is an unmarked silver thimble with an engine turned rim.
All the tools are in excellent condition -just a very small hairline crack by a rivet on the knife. The thimble has no needle holes or repairs and of good quality.
NB. The case is hinged with just a piece of leather. The weight of the pieces in the lid puts has put a strain on it but it is okay providing it is handled with care.
