A round Georgian ink well from a fitted dressing box. The silver mounts are hall marked but the date letter is obscured by the mechanism but is probably a letter i or an l as the downstroke is visible. However the shape of the King's head assay mark on the rim puts it in the 1820s by a London silversmith.
The cut glass is in excellent condition as is the silver.
