An unusual tape measure made of mother of pearl. The side has alternating strips of green and white pearl and the turning spindle is pearl too. The silk tape starts at number 1 and is maroon silk.
In excellent condition- no damage.
NB. The silk tape has a nick out of the edge at 3/4 inch which catches when the ribbon is wound and so needs care when doing so.

1.5 cm in diameter including the end of the tape. ( just under 3/4 inch )
