A novelty tape measure and thimble case in the form of a pair of binoculars. The one barrel contains a complete printed tape with end stop and the other a small unmarked silver Gabler thimble. c 1900
The ends of the barrels are stamped -

and
'Made in Vienna'
It is made of a base white metal and is in excellent condition.
