An unusual burgundy leather case with pockets for stamps gold tooled in the style of British stamps around 1880.
The leather is in good condition and decoratively gold tooled. It is silk lined in a matching burgundy colour. The silk is a little worn on the fold.
The case is stamped in gold 'Patent', some numbers the date? and 'Vienna Make'.
It is also initialed on one corner JMC.
