Five pairs of the rings used to contain the contents held in the ends of misers purses. There are a pair of cut steel, a pair of coquilla nut, a pair of pierced white metal (possibly silver) , a pair of silk wrapped card and a pair of mother of pearl.

They are in good condition other than one of the pearl rings which has a break (possibly deliberate) but it is not open and is stable. The matching silk ones are in two sizes -one large and one small for a different style of purse?

The widest is 1.5cm in diameter.
