Five attractive carved mother of pearl buttons with cut steel studs set in a gilt metal frame which is riveted into position in three places. The pearl is quite thick and the fastening is a small gilt loop. 19th century.
They are 3 cm in diameter. ( 1.25 inches )
In very good condition- some rust to the steel but nothing that noticeable and the gilt backing is still bright. No damage to the pearl and all the little loop fastenings are there.
