Four cards of silk found in an old workbox.
They are for Brown, Davis & Halse's Mandarin Silk.  The cards have 'By Her Majesty's Royal Letter's Patent Granted March 26th 1855' printed at the base. One card doesn't have much thread left on it but this means the middle section can be seen- this adds 'Soft Berlin Mending Cotton' to the decription.

In good condition- one has a creased corner but otherwise they have survived quite well.
