Two metal tools made by a local blacksmith and used for splitting straw to be used in hat making.
One of them has three fins so the straw could be cut into narrow strips and the other four (the fifth fin damaged through repeated use) Buckinghamshire. 19thc countryside craft work. Both have some rust but this could be cleaned off.
