An unusual Georgian silver fruit knife. The silver has bright cut decoration on the blade and the holder. The slider has a wavy edge and the initials of the maker on it-SP for Samuel Pemberton. The shape of the silver blade is the early 'butter knife' form dating it to c1790.
In excellent condition- there is a very shallow indent which shows up in the photographs but camera flash has made it look more prominent than it is.
7.5cm long closed
13cm extended.
