An antique cut steel chatelaine with four chains ending in six engraved steel appendages. c 1850
The clip is pierced and the four chains are made up of oval facetted steel links. The tools are a pair of folding scissors, a tape measure ( starting at one ), a pin cushion wheel, a note book, a pencil and a needle case ( lacking screw lid )
The pieces are all finely engraved with flowers, birds, and foliage and show some of the original gilding.
In very good condition but with the usual light tarnish and some pitting to the steel.
