A small parquetry needle book which would have fitted into a vertical slot in a Victorian Tunbridge Ware sewing box. The spine is a raspberry coloured silk and the interior holds a cloth for loose needles. c1840.

In good condition- there are signs of some old movement of the mosaic as there are narrow gaps between the tesserae but it is stable.

Just under 5.5cm across (2.25 inches)
