An elegant silver filigree thimble dating to around 1815 and probably made by one of the Birmingham silversmiths. It belongs to a group of small filigree toys made around this date- needle cases, tape measures, caddy spoons, chamber sticks etc.
It is in excellent condition- no needle holes in the top or repairs.
