A pair of steel scissors stamped Thornhill on one blade and New Bond St. on the other. The way the finger rings join the arms indicates an early date- late 18th / early 19th century. The leather sheath fits exactly and is likely to be the original.
10cm long (just under 4 inches)
There is some scratching across the maker's name and address through overzealous cleaning but otherwise they are in good condition and early scissors are hard to find.
