A silver thimble hall marked for Chester 1924 and by a famous silversmith called Charles Horner.
(The Chester assay office was no longer used after 1962).
The two patterns are a row of sunbursts and above them a waffle pattern rather than the usual knurling.

In excellent condition- no needle holes. The date letter is a bit blurry but readable.
