A pair of Dutch scissors of the type which were attached to a chatelaine. The silver is rivetted to the steel blade section. The handles are decorated with a design of flowers in a basket and pierced through.
There are silver marks on one of the finger rings but I've not been able to identify them but possibly circa 1820 going by images online and those in Kay Sullivan's book on Dutch sewing tools.
15cm long
In good condition-no damage but the rivets on the handles are worn so there is some movement.
