A Georgian silver filigree sheath for either a pair of steel scissors or just possibly a knife as it is quite large at 7.5cm in length. c1800-1820.
There is a dent in the silver at the bottom which could probably be fixed by someone with the right sort of tool and one small coil of filigree lost by the opening at the top (see last photo).
7.5cm long
tapering from 2cm down to 0.5cm at the bottom.
