A Georgian gift from a friend or beau-a home made pin cushion. The diamond shaped sides are made from carboard with gold paper trim on the edges and decorated with little stars and spots. There are two printed labels -one reads 'Trifles Shew Respect' and the other 'Never Forget Me'. The two sides are bound with dark green silk. c1800

In very good condition- some minor faults to the gilt stars and the background card is a little spotted but nothing horrible ( it looks worse than it is in the photos!).
