A little gold tooled, red leather needle packet box. English c1800--1815. Inside, the case is lined in yellow paper and it has a sepia print of a stag inside the lid. There's room for some very small needle packets (with equally tiny needles!) but only one early packet remains -

The leather is in excellent condition- no damage or splits and the gold tooling is bright.
