A rare Tartan Ware miniature knife box for needle packets. The tartan is titled Colquhoun in the usual gold on black and the name of the view -Hawthornden ( Midlothian ) -is written in yellow script under the picture. c 1830
It is in excellent condition and contains a single old packet of needles.
