An emery cushion housed in a silver filigree basket dating to the first part of the 19th century circa 1800. The cushion is a faded purple velvet and sits in an oval basket with a folding twisted wire handle.
There are no hall marks which is quite normal for light weight pieces of silver of this date and especially filigree.
3.5 x 2.5 x 1 cm deep.
