A Kirby Beard & Co needle packet holder. The black leather is embossed with the word 'Needles' in gold and with the firm's logo.
Inside it contains 9 needle packets in their compartments with the various sizes stamped in gold. There's also a piece of cloth for the loose needles which is both glued and tied in.
The inside of the flap is embossed with Kirby Beard & Co London and the Royal Coat of Arms. c 1840
In good condition -minor wear on the edges and there are some gaps to fill.
