An attractive pair of opera glasses enameled with figures in a landscape. The mounts are gilt metal and the eye pieces edged in pearl as is the end of the handle and the adjusting wheel. The handle folds when not in use and telescopes when in use.
The condition is very good- no damage or repair and the view through them is clear. The metalwork is unpolished. There are no maker's marks but they are probably French circa 1900-1920.
Ignoring the handle they measure 10 x 5cm completely closed and retracted.
