A late Victorian folding fruit knife with pearl sides and a silver blade. The blade is decoratively engraved and has the hall marks for Sheffield 1889 maker AS (Arthur Staniforth).
The silver silver spring cover is stepped and crosshatched and the hinge cover decoratively engraved.
The chunky pearl is undamaged and the action good. The blade has been sharpened in the past and there are tiny vertical scratches by the cutting edge (see photo).
